SnapStickers Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 13, 2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Irem Zeyrek ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the SnapStickers mobile application (the "Service"). Your privacy is critically important to us.
By accessing or using our Service, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Use. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Service. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at: irem.zeyrek@icloud.com
1. Information We Do Not Collect
SnapStickers is designed to be a private space for you to create. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). We do not collect:
- Your Name or Surname
- Your Email Address or Phone Number
- Your Age or Date of Birth
- Your Profile Picture
- Your Physical Address
- Your Payment or Credit Card Information (In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store).
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
a) Camera and Photo Library Access The core function of SnapStickers requires access to your camera and photo library. This access is used solely to allow you to create personalized stickers and Polaroid-style images. The photos, stickers, and Polaroids you create, including any titles or descriptions you add, are processed and stored exclusively on your device. We do not upload, view, or store your photos or content on our servers.
b) Automatically Collected Usage Data To operate the Service and manage premium features, we collect a limited amount of anonymous data associated with a device identifier. This data is stored using Firebase Firestore. Specifically, we collect:
- Device Identifier: An anonymous identifier for your device, which allows us to associate usage data with a specific installation of the Service without knowing who you are. This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Usage Statistics: A count of how many stickers and polaroids you have created and the timestamp of your last creation activity.
- Premium Status: We store whether you have an active premium subscription or purchase.
We use this anonymous information only to provide and improve the Service's core functionality and to manage premium features. We do not know the content of the stickers or Polaroids you create.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services from Google Firebase:
- Firebase Firestore: To store the anonymous usage data described above.
- Firebase App Check: To protect our services from abuse by verifying that requests are coming from a legitimate instance of our Service.
You can review Google's Privacy Policy here: https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise share your anonymous usage data with any other third parties.
4. Data Retention and Your Data Rights
We retain the anonymous usage data for as long as it is necessary to provide the Service to you. In accordance with data protection laws such as GDPR, you have the right to request the deletion of your data (the "right to erasure").
To exercise this right, please follow these steps:
- Open the SnapStickers app and navigate to the "Settings" section where you can find your unique, anonymous Device ID.
- Copy your Device ID and use the "Contact Us" feature to send an email to irem.zeyrek@icloud.com. Please include your Device ID in the email.
It is your responsibility to provide the correct Device ID. We are not responsible for the deletion of incorrect data or the inability to process your request if the identifier you provide is inaccurate. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete all data associated with your Device ID from our systems and will notify you once the deletion is complete.
5. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has used our Service, please contact us so that we can take necessary action.
6. Your California Privacy Rights
We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Therefore, we do not "sell" personal information belonging to our users. If you are a California resident and have questions, you may contact us at the email address provided.
7. Data Security
We are committed to protecting your information. While we do not store personal data, we rely on the technical and administrative security measures of our third-party service provider, Google Firebase, to protect the anonymous usage data we collect. You acknowledge that we are not liable for any data breach or security issues originating from the services of our third-party providers like Google Firebase. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
8. International Data Transfer
Your information, though anonymous, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Your use of the Service represents your agreement to that transfer.
9. Links to Other Sites
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us, such as the pages hosting our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
